Our Story

We’ve been providing quality timber products to the WA building industry for over 30 years

Independent Timber Supplies is a Western Australian business, proudly owned and operated by a local family since 1990.

We got our start when we noticed a gap in the local market for structural timber and building material supplies.

It was a humble beginning, but our passion and dedicated was evident from the beginning. We striving to be the market leader in our field, offering our customers a broad range of products and customer service.

Today, we’ve expanded not just in warehouse space, more equipment, and larger staff family, but we’ve also added a Technical Department, and a specialist manufacturing plant for roof trusses, wall frames, and floor frames, to complement our initial structural timber and building product packages.

With unparalleled understanding of the timber industry from our many years combined experience, Independent Timber Supplies has built a reputation as a respected and reliable supplier, providing a comprehensive service each one of our customers.

Manufacturing locally

Our purpose-built manufacturing facility came online in the early 2000’s, allowing us to manufacture products for our clients right here in Perth.

We’re proud to deliver anywhere in WA. From Kalbarri to Albany, wherever you need timber, we can get it there.

Born and bred in WA, we grew up in the towns that we now service. This is why we support local wherever we can, and make an effort to purchase our timber from local, WA-owned suppliers. Local timber means local jobs, and ground-up support for the communities that support us.
