Terms and Conditions:

We draw your attention to the following Terms and Conditions:
  • When stock availability issues are apparent, where the quoted product is not available, we will offer you an alternative suggestion but at the substitute product price.
  • Our quotation is based on the quantities that are listed on the attached. Extras or alterations to the materials listed will be charged for when supplied.
  • We have taken due care when preparing quotations, estimates and quantities. It is the builders responsibility however to check and verify the accuracy of this information and to ensure there is sufficient material for the requirements of this project.
  • Effective 10th April 2025, all credit card payments will incur the following charges (plus GST). Mastercard 1.32%, Visa 1.32%
  • Goods are supplied to a delivery agent of the client at the clients own risk. The client has no recourse to payment by Independent Timber Supplies for goods subsequently lost or damaged in transit.
  • The client shall provide clear access to the site for the delivery of the goods. Sufficient level area clear of any other material must be available for the offloading of all materials.
  • Any delays caused by the client resulting in the delivery vehicle being on-site for over 30 minutes may be charged to the client. Subsequently, any deliveries that are returned to ITS due to site conditions not being conducive to allow delivery, will incur a return and redelivery fee, which will be a minimum of $500.00 ex GST.
  •  If the site is not attended by the client, goods will be offloaded in a location deemed appropriate by the truck driver. No responsibility will be accepted for losses or damages of goods after delivery.
  • Transport vehicles are not to drive onto kerbs, footpaths or any unauthorised territories unless written authority is given by the client whereby the client accepts full liability for all resultant injuries and damages.
  • No claims for returned goods will be recognised unless made within 7 days of the delivery date. Goods which are stock items may be returned (prefabricated components excluded) in original condition (at the discretion of Independent Timber Supplies), and will be subject to a restocking and handling fee. This fee will reflect time and costs incurred to restock the goods and for lost productive time. Any product that is outside of the manufacturer’s treatment warranty (due to the length of time sat on site) will be deemed non – returnable and non – refundable.
  •  No non stock items can be returned for credit without the express authorisation of Independent Timber Supplies.
  • The client will be responsible for the costs to pick up returned goods, where the pickup is due to an issue caused by the client. Any orders returned to Independent Timber Supplies will need to be re-delivered within 30 days from the original delivery date. Failure to do so will result in the order being returned to stock and a restocking fee will be charged to the customer.
  • Any order that has been assembled to meet a customer’s delivery date that is postponed, will need to be delivered within 30 days from the original delivery date. Failure to do so will result in the order being returned to stock and a restocking fee will be charged to the customer.
  • Please check the Material List / Overlays for assumptions pertaining to the design and use of the products. Please advise if these assumptions are not appropriate.
  • For non account customers, full payment of the quote total is required on placing the order.
  • Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date noted on the quotation.

 

The following applies to quotes that contain products manufactured by Independent Timber Supplies:
  • Products are manufactured under licence from Mitek Australia.
  • Trusses are not designed to support fall arrest devices (or similar systems) unless the design specifically allows for such.
  • The client is entirely responsible for the dimensions on all drawings, including on-site dimensions, and for associated specifications. The client will need to inform Independent Timber Supplies of all changes (on-site or not) before manufacturing commences.
  • Independent Timber Supplies reserves the right to amend the quote should there be any changes to any item on which this quote is based.
  • In the event that the client cancels the order after accepting the quote, the client will be required to pay for all expenses incurred by Independent Timber Supplies. These expenses will be communicated in writing to the client.
  • Until full payment has been received, all goods remain the property of Independent Timber Supplies, and we reserve the right to take possession of the goods.
  • Products will be off-loaded onto the ground, unless other arrangements have been agreed to.
  • Any order that is manufactured to meet a customers requested delivery date will be invoiced in the month of manufacture.
  • For items manufactured and installed by Independent Timber Supplies, 60% of the total will be invoiced upon completion of manufacture, with the remaining 40% invoiced on the date of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
