National Carpenters Day is a celebration of carpenters, their work & a day to recognise their contribution to our community.
Independent Timber Supplies hosted a BBQ at its premises for the event in April 2010. The afternoon consisted of a free sausage sizzle, beers & some softies. We had a great turn-out of about 70 carpenters. Over $3,000 in door prizes were given out including a Hitachi drill pack and Paslode nail gun. There were over 30 showbags given away containing hats, t-shirts, stubbie holders, pencils, measuring tapes, yo-yos and stickers.
